Have E machines PC running xp sp3, 2 G memory. Suddenly my monitor display has changed itself to 640x480 and will not respond to attempt to change in display setup. It looks like video is on motherboard, any suggestions on getting it to work or is best bet to remove the good bits and junk the rest ?
    TIA

    Greetings, bg9208...

I'd be willing to bet that your display driver has failed, got corrupted, quit working, etc. Take a look in your Device Manager - any flags (yellow warning triangles)?

If you'll supply us your exact model number we can probably point you to a driver download.
