    Hi,

Does anyone know of any burn in tests for LCD monitors. I am testing some LCD screens but have been unable to find a suitable test. At the moment I am just using a DVD.

Basically, I want to pick up missing pixels and run long enough to put the inverter and AD board under stress.

    Any ideas :confused

And then what? How are testing? How are you measuring? What standard are using?

What do you mean by pick up missing pixels?

    Thanks Voodoo3rd.

    Thanks Digerati, Re your questions

I have found a number of LCD screens that only display missing pixels after a certain amount of time in use. The test at the moment is basically placing the screens on test for a number of hours. The screens are connected up to a jig and tested by playing a dvd. The AD boards especially have been found to fall over on site. I want to run a burn in test for 1-2 hours to put all components under load.

Well, for that, I don't see where you need a test - it is not like the monitor is under more or less stress depending on how any given pixel is lit. It seems to me, normal use at high resolutions would do the same thing, and be more realistic.
