Ive had this Gateway monitor for several months now and this past week I purchased a PS3 and used Psyclone component cables to hook it up to the monitor. It seems that all resolutions besides 480p look terrible when using the PS3. Anything above 480p has a really bad ghosting effect after every letter of text on the screen.

The monitors resolution is 1680 x 1050 and its a 22" so it should be able to handle 720p correctly on the PS3. I do not have this problem with my PC text. It only happens when I play my PS3 above 480p on the monitor with the component cables. Would using a good HDMI to DVI cable fix this? Even though the monitor isn't that great I don't think its causing the problem.
