I've tried booting from a PCLinuxos 2009 cd, and a simplyMEPIS cd, it seems to load okay, but then my screen (Acer) goes blank (like it's not connected to the pc) and informs me "Input Not Supported"...help?

    TIA -deeny

If you strike the keys at the booting menu (I think it is F4) can you change to a different video resolution?

PCLinux 2009.1 uses F3 for other options. But, I usually hit the down arrow twice in PCLinux 2009.1 and choose VESA safe mode. Chances are good if you try that instead of the first option, you will get the live cd to boot and show the display.
For most live CDs, I choose VESA.

Changing to VESA when booting MEPIS worked... haven't tried it with PCLinux yet.
    Thank you!
