Monitor Help

    My monitors color started to change a few days ago. At first it would be normal and then get brighter and now it has stay that way. The color is too bright . I have tried adjusting the settings but it stays the same. I have looked in the device manager to see if there was a yellow mark on the monitor and it wasn't. but there is a yellow mark on the communications port (com1).


    So is it best to just get another monitor , used or brand new., or can this be fixed?

    Hi

    First I would see if a kind friend has a monitor you can test your PC with to see if this is hardware issue as in monitor or software as in Windows?

    Comm port issue is not a major its likely a modem/fax issue, but depends on what Windows version are you using and actually what are you using, does help us alot to know this plus service pack level?
