Just aquired a new monitor, a CTX sab801...problem is i am having difficulty in obtaining a perfectly clear picture.

The colour layers seem to have sharp fuzzy edges around them, I can cure this slightly by adjusting the brighness and contrast if im looking at say, a plain page but if i change to another web page i have to re adjust.

Refresh rate is set to default for the hardware and i have tried all the other options.

My graphics card is an ati rage 128....could this be the problem?....is it not powerful enough to cope with this new type of screen?

    Cheers....

In a multi-display setup with a 19” CRT monitor as secondary, the software exhibited a minor but annoying limitation – it only seems to support a 60Hz refresh rate, which is hard enough on the eyes using a CRT straight on – but with it off to one side in your peripheral vision, the incessantly flickering screen is intolerable. (A 60Hz refresh on an LCD screen is perfectly acceptable.)
