Monitor is showing wierd stuff

My veiwsonic LCD monitor is showing these streaks that are brightened and they just appeared a week ago.WTF is up with it cause its drivin me insane!!Ive tried cleanin it that wasnt the problem.Maybe its somethin with my vid card?idk,but help me please cause they are freakin me out man!!

 

These 'Streaks' as you describe are they sort of flourescent sparkle types, if so, your screen most probably needs a degauss, check to see if the monitor has a degauss button ??

 

Have you installed new video card drivers recently? I had a similar sort of problem with an Ati card after upgrading the drivers. If so try downgrading to the drivers before the latest and see if that fixes the problem.

 

the streaks are just a lil brighter than the screen and VERY noticable on any bright colors.And I installed the drivers correctly.

 

Ok i think i know what it is.I think that the strands in the LCD monitor are corrupted or fading or somethin of the sort.What do yall think?

 

I have similar problems too. I have LCD too, no degauss option, pink tiles of things just kept showing up. It happened just like a day ago. ??

There is no degaussing for an LCD screen, sheesh.
