I've had this problem for a few months now, it came from nowhere, where my pc monitor just randomly loses signal after like 5 minutes of using it, the pc stays on and i can hear the music carrying on for a few seconds until the monitor just loses signal and stays idle, when I wiggle the mouse nothing happens, I have to turn my pc on and off to get back on the computer again, and im getting really tired of doing that, Ive tried using afterburner to lower my graphics setting and ive took out the ram etc and read lots of other forums but nothings working, sometimes i can last up to half an hour and sometimes it loses signal after 2mins, but it does it straight away when i start watching a video on youtube or playing a game.

If anyone has any solutions please help me this problems getting too much and I dont have the money to replace anything, thanks

You need to first determine if the problem is with your monitor, or your the computer. So the first thing I recommend you do is swap monitors with another computer. If the problem follows Monitor 1 to Computer 2, you know the problem is with the monitor. If the problem stays with Computer 1 with Monitor 2, you know the problem is with your computer (graphics card, power, motherboard, etc.).

Beyond that we need more information about your system.

Digerati is right, you need to determine if it's the monitor or PC. If you have a newish TV (bought within about 5 years or so) then your TV should have a VGA port that you can plug your PC into; also, if you have a newish (that word again) graphics card and it has HDMI output capabilities, any TV or monitor accepting HDMI can be used to test it.

If your problem persists on the other monitor, I would suggest getting a new graphics card, because overheating or RAM issues, wouldn't have your PC continue playing music.

Also, another suggestion; if you're lucky, some motherboards have integrated graphics build in, and are usually turned of in the BIOS if you have a graphics card, this can be turned on and used as a check for graphics card issues.
