Hello All. I am looking for help with my Acer E5-575 laptop and Acer K202HQL Monitor using Windows 10. I recently purchased the monitor and wanted to connect it to my laptop. However, despite doing all of the following, I still see “no signal” on the monitor.

    · Connect the laptop and monitor with a VGA cord

    · Connect the laptop and monitor with a HDMI cord

    · Reinstalled Windows 10

    · Removed Generic PnP Monitor graphics card drivers and reinstalled them

    · Removed Generic PnP Monitor graphics card drivers and reinstalled them

    · Rolled back Generic PnP Monitor drivers

    · Ran Intel® Processor Diagnostic Too and passed

The Generic PnP Monitor says it is working properly in Device Manager. If I do a Windows + P the system says I cannot project to another screen. Try reinstalling the driver or suing a different video card.

I am also unable to add the monitor as a device. I also do not have another computer to test the monitor.

I am out of ideas and would welcome yours please! TY!

    Is the monitor new?

Eldon, it is refurbished. But the OP took the monitor, VGA and power cables to a friend's home and it worked there so that ruled out the monitor and the cables.
I think I recommended plugging the monitor into a different outlet just to rule out electrical problems at the OP's residence.

No problem . It is in the posts in the thread on the other site. Not everyone has time to go through all those posts.- I ask what computer quite a few times and it is either mentioned in the title or the first post.

I even took 2 different monitors at my home and attached them to 3 different netbooks. One monitor was recognized immediately on all three devices but the other had the same problem as the OP. So my conclusion based on that small sampling is that either a monitor works with no tweaking or it doesn't. The two monitors are not much different in size. I came to the conclusion that perhaps the monitor that didn't work is too much monitor for the video chips in the netbook.
Lenovo 21.5" widescreen native resolution 1920x1080 won't display on netbooks, connected VGA port
Acer 20" widescreen native resolution 1600x900 will display on netbooks, connected VGA port

The OP's monitor 19.5 widescreen native resolution (can't find) I can only see maximum resolution 1366x768

The monitor "should" work" because the specs are lower than the monitor that works on my netbooks.
Which leads to possible problem with the VGA port.

The OP was told to go into the BIOS and make sure VGA was enabled. I assume this was done.
So perhaps the VGA port is not working.
