monitor not showing correctly

    LG FLATRON L1720p SHOWS CRT ANALOG SHOWS CRT UNDER S3 DISPLAY DEVICES

    have an acer aspire T135 motherboard with onboard sound. have downloaded the drivers from the acer site.

    have a lg flatron L1720P(analog) monitor. in the SiS display it shows the display device as being a crt. The screen is a bit on the fuzzy side and i am wondering if this is why? any suggestions as to how to fix this would be appreciated.
