Okay so I've checked the forums and don't think anyone has this problem. First off I built a new machine and I have an ATI Raedeon 4870 video card and I have a Dell e153pf monitor connected to it and I also have my 20" Phillips HD television connected.

My problem is that when the computer starts the screen saver (any screen saver and it starts after 10 minutes) the computer is supposed to then go into power save mode (10 minutes after the screen saver starts). The thing is it does go into power save mode but then the monitor clicks right back on after a second.

Now this just recently started. I've tried re-seating my video card and disconnecting my TV. I tried updating my video card drivers and everything, but nothing seems to work. I also looked into my BIOS and don't see anything wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions to a solution

    Thanks,
    Reggie

Ok so I have a new symptom for my issue. The monitor will only enter power save mode if I'm using the Windows XP screensaver. Any other screensaver and the monitor just clicks back on. Tried everything so a bit of help would be appreciated.
