monitor Question

    So im buying a new monitor ^^ now im not 100% sure if the monitor im buying needs to be compatible to my comp, or if it even does need to be, i dont think it matters, i assume you can go out and buy any type of computer monitor and hook it up and it will work

    Basically yes...though some will come with a driver disc ....CRT or LCD...whatever your budget allows.

    If you go bigger than a 22" LCD, you start getting into the graphics adapter limitations and may not be able to drive the native resolution of the LCD. And of course you would have to start looking at how much video RAM you have.

    Things will work, but either poorly or slowly if there is a problem. Then you have the option of buying a better graphics card to match the LCD.

    You should say what type of computer, how much RAM, and how old it is.
