Monitor Scroll Problem

Hello.
Today I have installed another hard drive. It is a 200 GB. Serial ATA and it is temporarily replacing my existing 250 GB. Serial ATA until I can back-up the files off of that one and start new. The manufacturers are different because I could not easily locate one made by the same company. I have installed the Windows XP Professional OS, some of the programs, along with many of the drivers.

My problem is that whenever I connect to the internet and scroll the page, regardless of whether I click on the up and down arrow or grab the scroll bar to navigate the page, the scroll is extremely choppy and the picture tends to exhibit horizontal rolling. I have tried re-setting the monitor to the factory specifications, but that did not repair the problem. I have not had this problem before. I appreciate any help you can give me and thank you for helping me with this matter.

 

i had this problem once, and once i installed drivers, it was all fixed.... What type of card are ou using?

 

sounds like you may need to (re)install your video drivers. Have you also installed the chipset drivers for your pc. The chipset drivers should always be installed first.

 

Thank you so much! That was exactly what was causing the issue. I re-installed all the video drivers and the scroll and the picture is now fine.
