Double-check your connection. Refer to the mobo manual for how to clear cmos. Unless it's a hardware failure, you should be able to bring the pc back on.

Maybe i should clear the cmos its only on the jumpers on the mobo but just thought id try other parts that i have 1st so far i have tried an AGP card,PCI card,a diff CPU, diff RAM pairs and singles checked all connections i think its time i tried the cmos if not its prob a new board i think?

If clearing cmos doesn't help, try each stick of ram in each of the slots. Some ram need more voltage to run than stock.

I have tried 3 different sticks and still no luck is it possibly the board?

For the purpose of clarity you are not getting any video on your monitor on booting.

Are you getting a post beep ie the single beep which is heard immediately after the post screen to indicate that the basic components are working. From what you have said, I would guess not.

If you are not getting the post beep, then at this stage ram issues is not likely to be your problem as the post sequence does not indicate ram failure of any kind. Therefore the hw failure is occuring prior to the ram. To test this out just take out the ram altogether. If you do not hear the ram failure bios beeps then you know that what I have said above is correct.

What I would suggest is a barebones set up outside of the case, that is mobo, cpu no ram or vga (at this stage). See if you get any kind of beeps at all. Also check the mobo's capacitors to see if there are bulging ie tops generally bulge up.

    Good Luck
