This monitor works fine in windows 7, linux, xp, vista

However in windows 8.1 i just get this distorted double image
The monitor ( also works as a tv) i am trying to use is a syncmaster 150 mp from samsung.

I wanted to use this monitor for windows 8.1 anyway to get it to work properly?

This isn't a crt monitor its actually an lcd

The monitor works on windows 10 technical preview

Initially i got a ''video mode not supported'' for about 20 seconds and then it went away after about a minute.

i lowered the resolution to 1024x768 and some minor flickering went away.

I don't know why this doesn't work on windows 8.. i can't even mess with the resolution because the mouse won't work correctly and the screen has these lines and double image.

To anyone who has had this issue

Mine was fixed with messing with a couple of display graphic adapters from my motherboards manufacturer website. Afterwards i was able to get display i still had the lower the resolution because of the size of my lcd but i everything looks like it should now.
