Monitoring Software and Etc.

Hi,

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows of good monitoring software (i.e. catches screenshots, sites visited, files accessed, etc. etc.) and also keylogging software, preferably concealed. I purchased Spy Agent, which is, to say the least, incompatible with a basic Windows system with anything else configured. I've been back and forth with their "support", which hasn't been fruitful in the least.

Also, I need help figuring out how to get started with and implementing group policy to make the computer a more controlled environment overall for certain users. GPEdit is a far cry from what I'm looking to figure out... at least its default configuration/options (and I can't figure out how to add new stuff, etc. as in custom GPOs).

You may ask why this is an issue, and the truth is that my wife and I are having some trust issues, and she's fully aware that I will be monitoring computer use, etc. so it's not something I'm doing behind her back or anything. I also have young children that will be starting to use the computer soon, and definitely need to keep a tight handle on that (supervision isn't ALWAYS possible, although it's always the best form of "security" for them!).

Another thing I'm trying to figure out is how to modify/restrict various parts of certain programs, one of the main things being the private browsing modes and the ability to delete usage history of various browsers (IE is easily set with GPEdit, but Firefox, SR Iron, Opera, Safari -- all browsers I use, are a little more obscure in their ability to be manipulated in this fashion).

I'm usually good at Googling things, but all of the things I just mentioned have been a very difficult challenge to find useful information on.

 

I find it hard to believe no one knows anything about the questions I have...
