I have been having off and on problems but now I am screwed I think. I had an audio problem and in trying to fix it sc rewed up my onboard ethernet. I tried to fix it and decided I needed to get the driver then install it.

I left the house and when I got back the pc is off and now it comes on but no periphials work, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers. The pc boots up and goes into windows I assume because it reads the hdd and blu ray drive. Its an itel board d946gzis. Also the GMCH gets warm quickly when I turn it on. Everything is onboard because coincidentially enough the board screwed up my vid card awhile back.

Is there any quick fix to get at least the standard pc working again? Believe it or not with my grammar I am a writer, kids book mostly but I have alot of work on that hdd and don't have access to another pc (just this laptop) to retrieve it and am strapped from xmas stopping me from getting a new motherbaord atm.
