    aww... Its ashame it cant handle ECC registered... Whats the difference anyway? (other than one is registered and one isnt)

    Registered is more for servers where data accuracy is needed, EEC registered memory has a miniscule delay while it checks data integrity ( that was the word I was looking for earlier ) 1 bits worth if memory serves, so for your gaming PC wouldnt be the best option.

    Just get some OCZ or Corsair Value Select. $85 shipped for 2 sticks of 512 from Newegg. You can even buy some headspreaders if you feel the need.

    As far as real world performance goes, there is little difference between Value and Premium. (Besides the price) Just go with brand name RAM and you should be good. (OCZ, Corsair, Kingston...)

    Alright, i didnt there there would be too much difference between timings on 2.5-3-3-8 and 2-2-2-4

    Although my question is, whats the difference between CAS 2.5 and CAS 3? and why does 3 cost more, i though the lower the better?
