Will adding computers to a wifi network slow all of them down? For example, if a download on one computer is interrupting streaming content will the other PCs on the network slow as well?

    Very likely.

However it depends upon your connection, time of day, how many network users you have and what you are downloading. Once streaming has commenced the actual continuous rate drops but there are bursts; so there is some slack in the system.

The network will be slower, not the other computers on the network themselves $.02

The only computer that will run a little slower should be the computer that you are downloading internet content on.
