More than one antivirus program

I have McAfee's Internet Security Suite 2007, which includes an antivirus program. Can I put an additional antivirus program on my computer without having conflicts?

You shouldn't run two AV programs at the same time....If you are worried that McAfee can't do the job, there is some good AV software listed on the home page here

 

Thank you. I have had no problems with McAfee so far. I just thought that I might get a little more protection if I had two antivirus programs. However, based on your response, I will content myself with the antivirus program currently running on my machine.
