Mortal Kombat X

All I can say is: WOW.

Chances are this won't be ported to PC, but we can hope.

As a fan of the series (and movies it spawned) ,the most disturbing part of that video is the music. Symphonic rap? Really??? (We need a smiley that communicates that disdainful sound of disgust that Darth Vader was so good at. rolleyes )

Seriously, who picked that song? Mortal Kombat is meant to be BRUTAL, and while some rap music can do that very well, the song chosen for the video failed abysmally if the object was to set the mood for the kind of over-the-top carnage brutality that the franchise pretty much has trade-marked over the years.

Or to put it another way, Kuchera is absolutely right. This trailer is a complete failure on every level that matters. I thoroughly enjoyed the previous games in the franchise, yet this trailer does not in any way excite me about the upcoming title. So, major fail.

 

Hopefully the finished product will have a better soundtrack. I have to say that the graphics are what caught my eye.

 

Looks like typical Mortal Kombat to me. Graphics are just more realistic.
