I guess I don't know what to say. When does the user take responsibility for allowing this stuff to install? Not once have I been hit with CWS, or variant. I've really not had any spyware problems at all, except webhancer, way back before the spyware boom. Even then it wasn't an issue, I simply uninstalled it. I knowingly installed it with a program it was packaged with. It was no surprise.

I'm no computer superhero thats immune to viruses and such, I am just careful. Thats what it takes in the internet world today.

I agree Adryn. The "spyware" i have on my machine are tracking cookies.. could care less about them really. People just need to be a little more diligent and educate themselves. But then again, I guess that's why we have a job

As for prevx.. thank Xflat for that link. He tossed it to me the other day. I don't know if it will be free outside of beta, but something tells me it won't be.
