Most IM Won't Connect and I Can't check most mail

Recently every IM program I have (excluding Yahoo Messenger) and I cannot access any of my mail accounts (excluding Outlook Express) (Not even web-based accounts like hotmail). I have been trying many troubleshooting techniques and ran every security program I have (AVG Anti-RootKit, Spybot, Spyware Terminator, Avast Anti-Virus, Advanced WindowsCare and even installed Hijack This) and although Spybot, and Spyware Terminator found problems, It did not fix my mail or IMs. I have tried fixing Host Files, flushing my DNS, running regsvr32, editing my internet options, running the troubleshooter Windows Live Messenger, Looking for bad BHOs, but none of it did anything (positive or negative).

The IM programs I am are Praize Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, AIM, and Yahoo Messenger.

The Email accounts I have are hotmail, yahoo mail, Gmail, Outlook Express, Walla Mail, and MyMail

I am running Windows XP Home SP2

 

I am having the same problem. I can't get to my hotmail account or any IM. I have Panda Internet Security 2007 and I was wondering if it and the Ad Aware service were stopping me from connecting. I've scanned with Panda and Ad Aware. I have disabled the Windows Defender and then I can connect to Live Messenger, but still having issues connecting to email accounts.

 

Actually, now, only live messenger, hotmail, and yahoo Messenger won't connect. Otherwise, it's still the same.
