Most Weird Problem

    Working on a Dell Optiplex 790 with Windows 10 Pro. The problem is that if I add a file to the computer or uninstall anything on reboot the file added disappears and the program uninstalled reappears.

    I booted with Strelec's disk wiped a program folder, on reboot the program is back.

    Scanned with DrWeb, Kav, Emsisoft, Malwarebytes and Superspyware. Tried Tweaking.com -Windows repair but no change. Will not boot into Safe Mode.

    Help would be most appreciated.

    I think I have found the solution to the problem. I imaged the Hajaan HS512E SSD to an old mechanical drive and installed it in the computer. Now everything is normal. I can install, uninstall as usual. Has anyone ever run into this problem?

    The PC nine years old, give or take. The BIOS might not be able to deal with the SSD controller.
