Mother Board and Cpu Question

Ok i got a Mother off of newegg.com

The mother board is
MSI 870A-G54 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

I am putting A fast AMD
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ965FBGMBOX

How Much Memory Should i use i am putting the Ripp Jaw memory
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL

The mother board says it can hold 16 gigs but i think only 4 gig should be fine.I am putting a 550 watt power supply in for now but i might up grade it too a 620.Is a 550 watt good for 4 gigs.Mother board i can fit a 1333 or 1066 Now can i put the same memory into all 4 slots

 

what os are you going to use 32 bit or 64 bit?

 

Im going too be running Windows Xp 32bit

 

I might be thinking of going with Athlon II

Witch is better the
Athlon II
Or
Phenom II

I know the Athlon is cheaper then the phenom But i wanna know witch is better for gaming.I was Going too put Rip Jaw memory in!!!!

 

i would go with 4 gig of ram because xp 32 bit will only use i believe, 3.3 gig of your ram.it will not utilize all 4 gigs. as for the cpu i would go with the phenom ll
