I dont think I am getting anywhere near the performance I should be getting. My MB and CPU have 2000Mhz FSB but its only running at 800. I'm sure if it was at 2000 I would run alot better. I found a setting in the Bios about Hypertransport and it has 6 options. On Auto it is 800Mhz. Max option is 5x and that is 1000Mhz. Anyone have a clue what the problem could be

Not sure how the board works...but, FSB settings are always half of what the FSB is actually rated at!! If that helps any!!

Yeah, when the motherboard says 1000Mhz, it actually means 2000Mhz. So, if your motherboard is running at 800Mhz, it is effectively 1600Mhz.

The HHT for that board should 1000mhz, HTT=fsb x HTT multiplier, the option with the X4 and X5, so your fsb is 200mhz x 4=800mhz,so this equals 1600mhz your effective hyper transport speed, this is killing your memory bandwidth,I havnt a clue why your HTT multiplier is at x4,it should be at X5 giving you an effective 2000mhz overall front side bus.

You should up it to X5 and reboot,if your system hangs, you should return the board. :)
