motherboard,cpu

    Hello

    I just put together a computer, well i used my old emachine case.

    I just replaced the motherboard, but used a processor from another computer.
    message received overcloking failed computer is restarting, but nothing happens.

    PC Specs
    Emachine case (old)
    Motherboard (G41M-P26)
    DDR3 1066 800Mhz
    CPU Intel Celeron d 3.2
    Power supply 350watt

    anyone has any suggestions.

    Most obviously the chosen bios settings are not compatible with the speed of that CPU,make a note of the bios version and the serial number of the motherboard and check the CPU support list at the manufactures website,check the latest bios revisions for added cpu support.

    Also can you read the info on the top of the cpu and add to your next post.

    Can you enter bios at all by hitting del?

    I all so use a msi MSI 870A-G54 (MS-7599) yes make sure you Bios is up dated make sure it has the latest
