motherboard issues

    I have a Compaq Presario SR5152NX Desktop PC. While updating BIOS (sp40912.exe) through the HP Compaq support site, the computer froze. Now the computer won't boot up, and a BIOS checksum error is coming up. How can I go about fixing this problem?

    Hey konecny, try resetting the BIOS...

    Let me know if doesn' workt as ther is other avenues to go down..
