hi my name is mark and i am brand new to this so here we go, i have a dell dimension desktop that tonight during a look at my favorites menu my menu started blinking and would not stop,so i initiated a restart and upon doing that my computer started a non stop continuous beep that continued until i shut it down completely. Upon turning it back on i noticed that the circle that indicates the computer is busy was blinking,so what i would like to do is get a copy of the motherboard manual but i dont know how. Dell would not assist me as my warranty has expired. Please help,it is a dell dimension E520 and the motherboard is a dell owg864 thank you my email address is removed

The blinking is this from the power button area light, if so what colour is it blinking?

What you could do if this PC is still blinking which generally signifies a hardware issue is to check all the connections ourside and inside the PC, so this will mean opening it up (while off and ground yourself) and checking connections to hard drive and CD to the point of pulling out the IDE/SATA cable and then re-plugging them in. Also carefully remove the ram and then replace, likewise with a graphic card if installed and not using onboard graphics, this will check to see if the devices are seated properly.
