motherboard upgrade

    yea....so my current mobo has no agp8x and doesnt support ddr400 plus no overclocking. my compy is from dell....
    so i just baught a new mobo and i heard dell case can only be used for dell motherboards....is this true? if so, does that mean the mobo i just baught wont fit in the case even tho its same form factor?

    Everything I have heard indicates that Dell uses a proprietary Motherboard.

    maybe it'll fit...maybe not

    but dell uses proprietary motherboard and most mobo won't fit because the screws are not at the same place....but it depens on wich dell comp...some does accept other mobos, some don't

    the best way to know is to try it...
