Your motherboard link is broken and your first RAM link, links to your motherboard.

I would speculate you have a bad RAM socket on your Motherboard. Try using one stick only and try it in all sockets.

Sorry about the bad links, I tried all 5 sticks in multiple slots.

When I attempt to boot this motherboard:
    SUPERMICRO MBD-C2SBX http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813182143
I get a long beep pause long beep pause which continues. According to the manual, this indicates RAM not detected. I've tried five different sticks, with the same result.

    Here's the Ram I've tried:

Starting at the basic, you are positive you have seated the ram and the processor correctly? Also you are positive you have connected all of the power connectors from the PSU correctly to the mobo?

Even if there was a bad slot, wouldn't having all four sticks in allow the mobo to detect something? I did try the sticks one by one, but I only did that in the primary slot, I'll try moving it around.

Did you read this in the manual? So only use the black mem slot if using 1 or 2 sticks, you can not use all 4 with 2GB sticks.

    When one DDR3
module is used, install it in DIMM2A or DIMM2B. If two DDR3 modules are used,
install these modules in DIMM2A and DIMM2B.

cpu reseated, 2gb gskill ram tried in multiple slots, still no luck.

This motherboard is rated for 8gb over four dimms. (4x2gb). The "+" version is not.

    No,

If you have a bad socket your MB your PC will freak out if it has anything in the socket. RMA the motherboard (assuming you have followed the instructions over installation)
