Mouse and keyboard not working ingame

Hi, as of this moment my mouse and keyboard are working as they should,
but when i start a game like, timeshift, mass effect 2 and such, my mouse and keyboard becomes completely unresponsive, i cant move the mouse nor the keyboard. while i am able to alt+tab ord ctrl+alt+del as usual:cry

i've tried reinstalling drivers, uninstalling, shifting usb ports and even used adapters so that no usb ports are used by mouse or keyboard...

any ideas, because i've NEVER seen this before

edit: the mouse usually shines less bright when not used, but seems to always be shining bright.

 

You need to post more information this is probably why your post has gone un answered for so long,include the make and model of as much of your hardware as you can,include your operating system,service pack,last time you updated windows and a brief description of when the problem started "my computer was working fine then blah blah." include any changes your made recently to your computer and what security software your using.

Do the Game menus load as normal with the intro,menu animations and music working?Have you ever had these games working?does your computer have the specs to run these games?Where are the games from?Anything else you can think of regarding your computer acting strangely.

Can you run 3D mark with no problems and does your system score the way it should?Run the latest 3D mark your computer will allow.
