    Hi.
I am new here and I don't know where and if this was posted.
If I make a error sorry.

I saw it year ago, when I start PC mouse and keys freezes, and PC did not fall asleep as in energy saving mode. I need restart it. It happened 3-4 times. Then again this march. Since last week it happens on regular bases. I see blue screen. Also if it starts now can be blue scream, and weird sound when it hangs up.

I google that , some say I need update bios, some, ram , some mother board, some virus. I download some programs to update drivers, but all are not for free, they scanned it. I saw few USB drivers were out of date.
I tried it via computer management, as I saw on YouTube, but I don't know if I succeeded.
    Can those be drivers?

    I have acer x3990 I bought it in 2011.

Ir runs fine when I start or restart that freezing disfuntion, after one or 3 restarts it works.

I also had start up error, when PC scanned for problem.

I had often power cut , once it messed Microsoft world, but under control panel I fixed it.
Windows picture galery was messed same way, but after one year suddenly it works again, and I did not done anything.

What can be wrong, is it wort to pay someone to fox, or just to buy new PC?

If the power cuts out because of an outage, the sudden shut down will corrupt Windows. Buying a new computer will not change that.

You might want to look at an Uninterruptible Power Supply or UPS. This allows you to shut down the computer and monitor when the power cuts out.

    Example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842101343

For something like this, it is better to shop locally. The product is very heavy because of the battery and the shipping would probably be expensive.

BSOD's do not indicate a power problem. It sounds more like system files corrupt.

I cant prevent power cut and new PC is option.
I still don't get why it freezes ? what can be a problem?

Please reread the replies - both TimW & plodr suspect Windows system file corruption. *Start by following Tim's suggestion in post#2.

I'll repeat what I said above because you either did not read it or it translated incorrectly. A new PC will not solve the problem.

    1th
new PC work work fine, power cut happens if it rains and are thunder and so on.

I read 1th post and that program, what he suggest, it says 42 errors are found. I will run and fix all when I will have a time.

PS , factory reset will resolve a problem?

Factory reset is too drastic. If the computer is from 2011, you will have 5 - 6 years of updates to do!!!
The slowness of Windows updates lately means that process could take days.
