Mouse Cursor invisible

Ok My mouse cursor will disappear every once in a while and the only way I can figure out how to get it back is a restart. The only real thing besides that that I have tried is ctrl alt del and that doesnt bring it up. I can still use the mouse, i can see where it highlights, its just invisible, the actual mouse pointer icon is not there. its gone on for a while now so I dont know what changes took place when it started. I havent installed any cursor related stuff though. Any thoughts are welcomed. oh, running windows xp and its just a regular mouse, not usb.

Try changing your cursor to a different one, and see if the same problem occurs. If that doesn't work than I have these questions: What kind of mouse? (laser, ball, etc..) And do you have any software for your mouse? (Logitech & etc...)

 

No software and just a regular old mouse. Trying the change of cursor but somehow im scepticle.............
Ill keep you posted and if anyone else has a spare 2 cents.......
