Mouse does not work.

    I was given an old Gateway P11 and when I fire it up the mouse does not work and I have tried about 3 different mice. I tried to get in to BIOS and they want a password. Is there a generic disk I can get. I don't have any epecs on this computer yet, Thanks!

    To reset that password....

    Otherwise, I'd say take the battery out of the motherboard for 30 mins then put it back in. This method will reset everything within the bios........
