Mouse dying?

I have a wired/optical inland mouse
when I try to scroll up, it goes up, then when I stop, it goes down a bit or the page shakes up/down

so I think I just need a new mouse

any opinions on what kind of mouse to get?

Hey

I love the Arc mouse (have 2 of these in black) but that's more for my Surface and Netbook, but for desktop I have never gone wrong with http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/wireless-mobile-mouse-1000/2CF-00001 bare bones good all rounder.

Spray the lens on your current mouse with some air duster. If it doesn't fix things, put some rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip and clean the lens with it. Either or both of these may bring your current mouse back to life.
