Feel free to confirm my hunch that I have corrupted my computer. First, I was getting a message (I can't recall exactly) that there was a problem with the graphic driver. So genius (not really), stubborn that I am, I decided to try and fix it (which I guess I had no business doing).

Anyhow...I have a Dell pc (Dimension 5150), windows xp OS. I downloaded the Intel Chipset and rebooted my computer now my cursor is frozen. Yes, I tried 2 different wireless and 1 non-wireless mouse in various ports, to no avail.

I suppose there is nothing I can do besides restoring the computer to factory settings which would mean losing all my information, or take it to a professional and hope he can repair it.

Does your keyboard work? If the keyboard works, do a system restore to before you donwnloaded the chipset drivers.
