Mouse Gestures - Disable Pref, Otherwise Learn

Hi,

Vista Business on a Dell Latitude 530. Sick of inadvertent mouse gestures taking me back to the previous page.

I'd prefer to disable it altogether, because my mouse gets dodgy when the batteries run low, but I'd also like to know what gestures are available, (especially if I can't disable gestures) so I can find out what it is that I do (or the mouse does, if it's dodgy fullstop, which it might be, but I don't know because I don't know what SHOULD be happening).

It seems to be a Windows-based issue, because I get sent back a 'page' in my non-Windows browser AND in Windows Explorer. I can't think of any other program I use where it would be able to happen.

And yes, I do mean mouse, not touchpad - I like using an external mouse, currently using a wireless mouse and keyboard pair:
