I have an older Dell Latitude E6510 laptop, all of a sudden the touchpad mouse does not work, have to use a wireless mouse. Any help appreciated.

If you go into Device Manager (of whatever Operating System is on that laptop) > Mice & Other Pointing Devices > TOUCHPAD > if there is no yellow warning question mark > right click 'properties' then 'driver' and 'update driver > search everywhere including online.

On my Dell Latitude E6400 and Inspiron 15-5555 laptops, I turn the Touchpad off. It's a PITA when typing and your thumb accidentally touches the touchpad if it's left turned on.

Are all the keys working? Even if they are, you may need to replace the keyboard and touchpad (they're a single combined unit) — not terribly expensive or difficult to do.
