Window 7 Dell insprion Microsoft wireless mouse. Has run fine up to the last 6 days. The mouse jitters and moves frequently on its own. I try to hit a specific point or option(all) and its hard to get the mouse to go where I want it. I know of no new hardware or software in the last month. Its very flustering at times it just will not follow me. If I circle the mouse several time sometime it will then go where I want it to go but that is a short fix. Sometimes I just slam the mouse down(mad at it) and it will then go where I want it but that doesn't last long. If I shut down foe a while the mouse strars up fine but after an hour or so it goes crazy again Help!

Try another mouse so we can determine if the problem is hardware or software.

Get a can of compressed dusting gas and blast out the laser cavity. A tiny hair or speck of dust can do this. Make sure the mousing surface is clean too. Beyond that, I agree with plodr - try another mouse.
