Mouse makes an electronic noise

My mouse makes this weird electronic noise whenever it moves. I'm not sure what it is, or what is causing it, but whenever I move my mouse I hear an electric noise coming out of my speakers. Can anyone help me?

 

Oh, and it is also only when I roll over a program window of some sort. It doesn't happen if I move my mouse over my desktop or anything.

 

Is it a wireless mouse?

This is a very odd problem you have, you should try plugging another mouse in and seeing what happens. I was going to say it could be electrical cross talk or such but you mentioned about that it happens when you roll over stuff in windows, damn thats weird.

The mouse could also be possessed, by the ghost of bob the builder.

 

When I plug my high quality headphones directly into my computer, I can hear those sort of noises when I minimize or maximize a window. Do you have high quality speakers or a low quality soundcard? Do you listen at high volumes?
You can try this for a start: Turn the master volume down on your computer and your speaker volume higher. (There should be a volume icon in your taskbar).

 

So is it just normal then? I don't have a wireless mouse, and I noticed that when I am virus scanning or something like that, when my computer is busy, the noise is no longer there. Its weird, but I do think that my sound is very high so I will try the last suggestion. I'm just trying to figure out if there is something wrong or not.

 

Its your sound card. Your prolly using onboard sound or some cheap sound card right ??
I say get a good sound cad...But dont turn the volume on any bar past 80% that should help some ..

 

Try updating to newest drivers on the sound card? Hey you never know...
