Mouse problem.

Hi all.
I just noticed that when I move my mouse ( Logitek Track Ball ) I can hear a buzzing noise inside the computer.
This just started today.
Any Ideas ??
Also , what actually runs the mouse?

Yeah.. I had this problem a while ago. I thought it had something to do with a conflict between my mouse and my voice modem. Do you have a voice modem installed? The noise stopped (i think) when I installed broadband and the modem became redundant. -shurgs- I don't know if they're linked, but it certaintly never happens now..

 

I finally got to reboot.
It turns out to be a loose usb adapter.
It is fixed now.

But I would still like to know what makes the mouse work.

Hmm. I wonder what the hell was wrong with my mouse then.. heh.

I'm not sure what you mean about what runs the mouse.. Are you talking about CSRSS.exe? I think thats the process that powers the mouse. Other than the mouse drivers themselves.....? Am i missing your point? Maybe someone else that knows computers better than myself will be able to tell you.
