    Hi all,

I found that when I was playing a game that the video was all a bit stop/start. So I went into task manager to see if anything was chogging up the resources and noticed that whenever I moved the cursor around the screen the CPU usage soars up to 100%!

Leaving it alone it dropped back down to the teens. This is a new development and I wondered if anyone else has ever had this issue, and if they did, did they cure it and how?

    All the best

What window are you moving the mouse over? It is most likely some app that is using 100% CPU on a mouse move event. I doubt it is a problem with the actual mouse.

You mentioned that you were playing a game, so I assume that you are moving the mouse around on the game's window (especially if it's fullscreen). In that case it is not unusual, the game might updates the physics and possibly render the scene whenever the mouse is moved.
