   i am playing a game that calls for the use of the mouse wheel; my mouse only has the left and right buttons: is there an easy way to simulate the mouse wheel ? thanks

   That would depend on what you program the wheel to do. The wheel is often used for scrolling and that can not be simulated with the left and right mouse buttons.
