Movement Lag

Hey guys,...

After uninstalling the Windows Vista pack I ran into some (minor) problems which could quite easily be solved, but now... I face a dilemma.

When I'm playing role-playing games, and I press, for example 'W' to go forward the character simply keep walking forward even when I'm not pressing the button anymore?! This is happening to all my role-playing games! Does somebody have any clue on how to solve this one?

 

I shall try to give you guys some additional info about this problem.

It effects the games Pirates of the Caribbean, CoD2 (not 1) and GTA: SA.

Frankly, the shooting work perfectly. But when I' starting to walk with my character, everything just lags, the character just keeps on walking, it takes hours to pop the menu screen up and s... like that.

Now, if anybody has ANY suggestions of ANY kind, I'm all ears! Need more info... tell me what?

 

if its a USB keyboard then try reinstalling the drivers -OR- boot up without it plugged in and then stick it in and let windows install everything from windows update (still if its a USB keyboard)

 

Well, it's not an USB keyboard I'm afraid .

FRankly, I don't believe it has anything to do with the keyboard, but perhaps something with system files or something. Anymore suggestions?

 

Now, I tried reinstalling to games in question, but still no result.

I am willing to try out any sensable suggestion.
