Moving Files causes windows installer to start

This is freaky...I try to drag and drop any file..whether it be a jpeg,gif,mpeg,wav from one folder to another and windows installer kicks in and trys to load Roxio DVD recorder on my computer (its already loaded). I have to Control -Alt-DEL and shut down the install (canceling won't do it) And when i do DRAG is an application showing. If I try to copy and paste, same result but with no DRAG in the Applications window.

If you think you need the hardware I will post it but it is obviously software related. If this is not the correct format I apologize as this is my first post.

 

I've also had Windows Installer play up one me occasionally, although not from drag n' drop.

The only way around it I have found is to let it install whatever it thinks it needs to.

It doesn't generally do any harm and stops it from happening again.
