i did just cut and paste. i then ran a registry repair program and it only found the unistall paths. windows tells me the folder has been moved and that is where i'm at now. i'v ben wanting to no how to do this for awhile but just decided to get serious. i started electronics back in the late 60's so i'm catching up on this nu (4me) stuff.

Program like Application Mover would do the trick. Copy the programs back, then use the program to move them instead. That way you'll update registry entries as well :)

Just to expand on Goldy's reply. Application Mover is Shareware, but it's cheap. It is also free for the first 10 uses. Bazza
