Moving to mexico

Dear President Obama:

I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me.

We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico , and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements.

We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws.

I'm sure they handle those things the same way you, Bush, Clinton, Bush Sr.,Carter, and all previous presidents have done here.. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I'm on my way over?

Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.

3. Please print all Mexican Government forms in English.

4. I want my grand kids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.

5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history.

6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.

7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.

9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico , but I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.

10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.

11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my housetop, put U S. flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.

13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.

14. I want to receive free food stamps.

15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies.

16. I'll need income tax credits so that although I don't pay Mexican taxes, I'll receive money from the government.

17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Government pays $4,500.00 to help me buy a new car.

18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U.S. from Mexico . I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

Just be careful down there in Mexico if you go. Everything I heard and seen about the place wasnt the greatest and very dangerous down there. And how gov and police many are corrupt and on the illegal sides of things. Also people that were tring to do better for Mexico was actually killed and his family as well. And there was cases were a girl went down there and never came back, dad went down there and seen the car in impound and found out she was pulled over. Cops said they dont know anything.. the dad goes around the neighborhoods and ask what would happen and who would take this girl like this to the thugs in Mexico and they said the police would and they use her for sex and etc. Another things I heard was they dont give you pleasure of dieing easy they burn you.

 

You have that right! I would not got to Mexico and never really wanted to but did, I did one afternoon on a cruise Mexico it is a Chit hole. That was about 15 years ago, it was plain to see they had -0- use for Gingo's! I say guard the borders and let them shot it out amongst themselves!

The image of Mexico has become really sad. Drug lords, crooked cops and politicians, little or no regard for the average Joe, (or Jose).

I know some Mexican familys up here; religious, hard working, and modest in all ways are the only way to describe them.

I guess in the end you have to blame the ruling class there because it is not the people's make-up, IMO. It's pathetic that our neighbors to the south have to live like that.

And OldPhil, just to be clear, I thought your piece was hilarious, and directed to the proper authorities!

 

Problem is, all the decent Mexicans moved up here. Left the trash behind. Maybe we should just ship all our trash there and let them all just rot.

If the US was to take over Mexico then the US border would be smaller down in the "land bridge" area making it a lot easier to police.

Not that this is a valid strategy at all...

How to protect a large land area like that is intriguing,building a large wall or fence would be far too expensive and offer minimal protection but I think and electronic fence that uses all of modern technology's sensors would be viable.

You would only need one detector per mile or so similar to a street lamp,it could detect thermal radiation such as body heat,seismic activity for detecting foot steps,microphones for detecting noise,air quality detectors for sensing the smell of taco's or huge infared beams that set off an alarm when broken.

Stopping them is another matter,one thing I came up with would be an AI controlled helicopter the same size as radio controlled one they are cheap as chips so you could have hundreds of them,when the alarm is set off it automatically takes off from its pad finds the target and Tazes them then returns to home base for tazer reload and battery charge.

I'm a bit of a liberal so I guess you could always attach a gun to the choppers and just shoot them:-D

 

Here's an idea: a new canal that happens to follow the border. You get a fast-flowing river of water with the only bridges at international crossing points, then possibly a fence the US side of the river. This would discourage most people as they would not want to be drownedededededededededededed
