mozilla and firefox no longer supported

hey, since today there have been some problems with my browsers, dont like to use IE, but now i cant use hotmail which is a secondary account for me. whenever i try to open the page it sais: "Microsoft® .NET Passport no longer supports the Web browser version you are using. Please upgrade to a current Web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or later, or Netscape Navigator version 4.08 or later."

does anybody have any ideas what the prob is. i read that Microsoft are changing there strategy?????

Yeah, some things don't work in firefox... Windows Update certainly doesn't... I don't use Hotmail myself so I couldn't comment.
