mozilla firefox freezing

I have the up to date version of firefox, and I don't have any malware it will freeze and say program not responding for a few seconds and then it back to normal. or it will freeze because of a script and will ask to let it continue or stop it from running. I have the yesscript add on I thought that will help with the script problems. I read that disable some add ons will help . Is there anything else I can try.

 

I started getting BSODs about 2 weeks ago all related to the graphics card on the PC. Plugin-container which is part of Firefox is what was crashing. There was also one time when the PC just froze up (no mouse/keyboard/no anything) with no BSOD. I updated the graphics card driver and, hopefully, the problem has been corrected. Maybe you could check to see if any of your drivers could use an update...

 

It might be a problem with firefox i don't think theres a fix for it or not

You can also try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox:

• Tools menu > Options > Advanced button > General tab:
• Un-check "Use hardware acceleration when available"

As far as I know, the above problem has not been resolved yet. You can try disabling Flash Player "protected mode":

You can also try un-installing the current version(13.0.0.214) and installing a slightly older version, say 13.0.0.206. Wouldn't recommend going back any farther.
